Louisiana Attorney for
All Personal Injuries Nationwide

Rebecca Cunard is the founder of Cunard Law Firm, LLC, where she has dedicated her practice to the representation of injury victims nationwide for over three decades. She is committed to providing you with professional, experienced, and aggressive representation. She knows this is a difficult time in your life, and filing an injury claim can be a complicated and slow process without a result-oriented lawyer working for you.

Rebecca Cunard has dedicated her practice to the representation of injury victims since 1990. In the past thirty-five years, Rebecca has resolved many thousands of claims and cases through trial or settlement and procures millions of dollars for her clients every year.

Rebecca lives in Baton Rouge with her husband, Scott Reis, a retired lawyer and founder of Cunard Reis Law Firm and Scott-Reis.com. An attorney with offices in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, she is active in her church, neighborhood community, and as a Commissioner for the Port of Greater Baton Rouge.

She is in tune with injury claims in Louisiana and throughout the country as she is on the Executive Committee of the Louisiana Association for Justice, the state organization dedicated to the representation of injury victims.

Scott Reis is originally from Monroe, Louisiana.  He and his wife, Rebecca Cunard, formed the Cunard Reis Law Firm, which transitioned to the Cunard Law Firm when Scott retired to focus on healthcare investments. His professional career began in Baton Rouge with the Louisiana Legislative Council while a student at LSU Law School. He graduated in 1972 and immediately entered public service, first as Monroe City Prosecutor, followed by the Louisiana Constitutional Convention (CC ‘73), then as Plaquemines Parish Public Defender.  During his years as a criminal defense attorney in South Louisiana, Scott developed a robust personal injury practice with a maritime focus.  Thereafter, he formed the Reis, Stanhope, McKay, and Smith Law Firm in New Orleans.

A decade later, Scott relocated his private law practice to Baton Rouge, where he served as Secretary of State Executive Counsel and Bond Commission representative.  Scott retired to focus on healthcare investments.

The success of Diagnostic Management Affiliates (DMA) in New Orleans and Bayou Medical Management (BMM) in Baton Rouge led Scott to enter the Atlanta arena as founder and operator of Atlanta Medical Management (AMM), a PPO designed to provide access to healthcare for underinsured trauma victims.  Following the sale of AMM, Scott returned to the Louisiana market, co-founded Medport LA, and acquired a position in Romeo Papa Boats—a company that provides a wide range of maritime services, including local and national security solutions.  Scott’s law and healthcare careers overlapped for almost fifty (50) years.
